Pokemon Emerald Real Time Clock Patch
Now Open up IPSWin and then browse for the Pokemon Emerald Rom and then Browse for the Patch which should be a.ips file Then Click on Patch. It Should be done. Assuming that you use Visual Boy Advance 1.7.2 then open it up click on options Emulator then enable Real Time Clock and then open up the game and it should save No Problem. It was recently discovered how to load GBA games with 128k save support and in addition RTC (real time clock) support, meaning its now possible for the 3DS to perfectly play the vast majority of GBA games. The only games which will not work are games where the cartridge contains special hardware, which very very few games do.
Both the links to the patches in the old gbatemp thread appear to be dead, so I was hoping someone had a copy of them and would be willing to upload them somewhere. If there are any other links to download the files that would help a bunch too.
Edit: After some more searching I found a precursor to the first linked thread, that has a link to an old version of the ruby patch. I'm still looking for a sapphire patch however, and would really appreciate any help in that regard

Edit2: Success, I finally found a patch file, it was kinda hidden in the original thread actually. I'll link it here in case anyone comes here looking for it. You have to have the sapphire/ruby rom with the crc that he specifies but if you look up 'pokemon ruby [crc number] crc' you should be able to find the rom. Additionally, that link has an emerald patch that I had trouble finding, which is nice. Finally I feel like I should mention that the sapphire/ruby patches in the link do include the gbata clock fix as well at the clocks in the pkm center fix, while the emerald fix doesn't include it. If you want the gbata fix for emerald, I found it here. Sorry if this wall of text bothers anyone, but I feel like this might be relevant information if someone ends up finding this post while googling.
